We realized early on we shared the same values and decided to start a company that could fulfil our vision of how sustainable design can be created in a new way. The Machine is a device that is meant to amplify Roger’s ability to stop time and bring all of the Tomorrow People to the Refuge, a place where the Tomorrow people would no longer fear humans. The Sustainable expanding bowl created for Innventia is a self-expanding instant food package combining different aspects of sustainability. It saves space in transportation by being compressed \u2013 at the same time, it is made out of a 100% bio-based and biodegradable material, invented by Innventia. \u201cto build a better world through research, new technologies and intelligent material. The packaging is therefore made with the same short life span as the food they contain, like a symbiosis. The oil package can be opened by cracking it like an egg, a highly future forward interpretation of sealing, made of caramelized sugar and wax coat. When the material is opened the wax do no longer protect the sugar and it melts when in contact with water. The smoothie package is made of agar-agar seaweed gel and water only, and is made for drinks with a short life-time and needs to be refrigerated. Rice package is made of biodegradable beeswax, and you open it by peeling it like a fruit.<\/p>\n

The self-cleaning plate is a result of a collaboration between Tomorrow Machine and Innventia, a global leader in research and development of pulp, paper, packaging and biorefining.
